Which SEO tactics should podcasters keep in their toolbox?

Sarah McDowell is SEO Manager at hosting service Captivate, and co-host of The SEO Mindset. Her podcast has grown to 800 monthly downloads, and she has just secured her fourth sponsor.

Sarah McDowell is not just an SEO fanatic. She is also a huge podcasting enthusiast.

The SEO Mindset podcast, which Sarah co-hosts with career coach Tamzin Suleman, is now in its eighth season.

Between them they’ve racked up more than 80 episodes, and grown their listener base by 400% since they launched the show in Spring 2022.

That has made sponsors sit up and take notice. And now wonder, when a recent survey of podcasts found a median annual growth rate of just 21%.

The SEO Mindset has just secured its third show sponsor, Vancouver-based SERPS company STAT Search Analytics - an ideal partner for a show targeting SEO professionals.
